BREEDING INFLUENCES IN TITANIUM NORWICH TERRIERS
We count ourselves most fortunate to have built up a line of healthy, sound and typical Norwich Terriers based on two lovely males imported from the U.S.A., and bitches mainly bred from them.
The first import, in 1987, was Chidley Love 'em and Leave 'em from the late Joan Read's famous 'Chidley' kennel. What a wonderful dog to send us - by Am.Ch. Royal Rock Don of Chidley, whom we admired greatly, ex Am.Ch. Chidley Lovey Dovey.
The second male, another absolutely delightful dog, was Am.Ch. Barnstable Paws for Applause at Titanium, bred by Sandra Stemmler - by Am.Ch. Ronnell's Applause Applause ex Am.Ch. Barnstable Superstition. He arrived in the U.K. in 1993.
These two males, bred to sound, healthy bitches in our Kennel, have produced the dogs we are showing today.

'Meg' was born in 1982, coming to live here, aged 8 weeks, after we lost our first young bitch who, sadly, died aged 20 months. Meg's two daughters, T. Black Plum and T. Black Cherry, are behind our 'P' line and our 'C' line.

Born 16 September 1987, 'Plum' was the dam of Titanium Plum-Pudding by Chidley Love'em and Leave'em. Plum-Pudding, our first undocked Norwich, who, when bred to Am.Ch. Barnstable Paws for Applause at Titanium (Imp. USA.), produced Ch. Titanium Pawpaw-Pie.
Black-Plum was the winner of 2 R.C.C.s, one of those at Crufts 1991

Born: 29 September 1989.
The first son of 'Love'em and Leave'em', he came to live at Titanium when he was 6 weeks old. Sadly, he died here in 2005, just short of his 16th. birthday.

younger, full brother to 'Great Love' . After a successful puppy career,winning Best in Show at the Norwich Terrier Club Open Show, and 1 RCC at Bath Ch. Show, went on to win Best Puppy at the East Anglian Supermatch in 1991, Sirius went to Germany where he had the distinction of becoming the first Norwich to win B.I.S. all-breeds, at Bonn.

Matings to his grand-daughter, Titanium Cappuccino, produced the last two litters for Titanium by Ch. Vinfield Great Love.
His offspring are still here carrying on the line. |
